Behind the Scenes (2019)

My boyfriend got a wedding invitation from a friend in Nepal and we flew to Katmandu in February 2019. The few things I knew about the wedding was that my boyfriend studied together with a groom in university and the wedding would last ten days. At the first time, I thought about it casually/ ok, probably all Nepali people have wedding ceremonies this long. It became clear quickly that this wasn’t an average Nepali wedding, but a very rich one. At the first time I was really excited. Everything was new to me and I felt like I was in a movie. But after Day Two my excitement was gone and all the ceremonies seems very similar to me. I was curious how other people were going to deal with this wedding? The wedding still had eight more days to go. So, I started to capture what was happening behind the scenes.
